Real Skills FET Rewrite Centre
Real Skills Technical FET identified the need for a dedicated rewrite Centre to assist Grade 12 students in improving their results in specific subjects. Over the past 2 years as an independent institution, we have observed that many learners struggle to achieve all the necessary subjects required for their National Senior Certificate (NSC).
Schools often lack the resources or specialized teachers needed to support students repeating subjects. Recognizing this gap, Real Skills Technical FET Rewrite Centre was established to provide structured academic guidance by subject experts. This approach ensures learners receive the support they need to either pass their subjects or improve their marks significantly.
We understand that leaving students to prepare and rewrite exams independently does not yield the best results. With proper guidance and facilitation from qualified Grade 12 teachers, we aim to help learners reach their full potential.
Our Approach
Real Skills Technical FET Rewrite Centre employs only qualified teachers who specialize in Grade 12 subjects. These educators are either sourced from other schools or are part of our teaching staff, ensuring they have extensive experience with the current curriculum and challenges faced by learners.
Program Structure
- Class Schedule:
Learners will attend classes from 08:00 to 15:00, Monday to Friday, with additional sessions on Saturdays. - Tailored Focus:
Teachers prioritize challenging topics and complex concepts that students often struggle to grasp. This targeted approach helps improve understanding and performance. - Timetables:
Each learner will receive a personalized timetable to ensure structured preparation.
We welcome students from across the Free State and beyond to register with Real Skills Technical FET Rewrite Centre. Together, we’ll work towards helping learners achieve their academic goals and secure their National Senior Certificate.

MATRIC Re-write
Description
This is the FETC (General Certificate), Known as the National Senior Certificate when offered in Schools. It is aimed at Learners in Grade 12. These Learners leave Schooling either for Further
Learning or employment in various work places. The FETC (General) is the Qualification awarded to Learners who achieve the Exit Level Learning Outcomes stipulated in the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement.
Exit Level Outcomes
The National Senior Certificate equips Learners irrespective of their socio-economic background, race, gender, or disability with the knowledge, skills and values necessary for self-fulfillment and meaningful participation in society as citizens of a free country. It also provides them access to Higher Education and Vocational Education and/or Occupational Qualifications in the Further Education or Higher Education Bands. Lastly, the NCS / CAPS Training facilitates the transition of Learners from Educational Institutions to workplaces and provides potential employers with a
profile of Learner’s competencies.
